What is AI Connect?
AI Connect is how Wisefish enables your team to work with AI on your live data. It connects assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot to your Wisefish and Business Central data, so people can ask questions and get answers straight from live data. Wisefish sets it up with you and offers advisory services for teams who want to go further..
What data can I actually query?
The connection covers a broad range of your live Wisefish and Business Central data, including orders, inventory and lots, and it keeps growing based on how customers use it.
How is this different from connecting AI to Business Central directly?
Wisefish adds the seafood structure on top of your Business Central data: origin and catch details, yield, and cost across several products from one raw material. That is what lets the answers reflect how a seafood business actually runs.
Is my data safe?
AI Connect works within each user’s existing Business Central permissions, so it only reaches what that person’s own login can reach. When someone asks a question, the data needed to answer it goes to the AI provider you choose, such as Anthropic’s Claude or OpenAI’s ChatGPT, not to Wisefish. On a provider’s business plans, the data is handled under their business terms, which state that customer data is not used to train their models. Customers start with read access, and creating or updating records is agreed with you, use case by use case.

What is MCP?
MCP, or Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that creates a secure connection between an AI tool like Claude or ChatGPT and your live Wisefish data. Think of it as the bridge that lets your AI tool work directly with your Wisefish environment rather than from exports or summaries.
