Ída Guðrún Atladóttir, Business Intelligence Developer

What is your role at Wisefish? 

My name is Ída and I have a B.Sc. in Business Administration, a minor in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Business Information Technology. I joined the company in the fall of 2022, and my current role is a Power BI Developer. My daily tasks involve developing Power BI reports into our solution set and for our customers, helping customers gain a complete overview and valuable insights into their data for better decision making in their seafood operations. 

What do you like most about your role? 

I really like the opportunity to work with data and to extract meaningful insights from the data provided by our customers. We work diligently as a team to meet our customers’ needs and to help them succeed in their business, hence it is very rewarding to see the results of your work and how it impacts our customers in a positive way. 

How do you feel about the company culture? 

I really thrive in this purpose driven environment, and I enjoy being part of a close-knit team working towards the same goal, to improve the seafood supply chain.  

Our culture enables and encourages us to being lifelong learners. Every day I get to learn new things which allows me to grow as a person and as a developer.
